Is my driver’s license a valid form of identification?

In most European countries, a driver’s  license is considered to be a valid form of identification if you wish to enter a bar/nightclub or if you want to check-in at a hotel. However, if you wish to enter another country, you will always need to have either your passport or an identification card with you, as a driver’s licence will not be accepted as a means of identification.
